Leeann Thomas - Proprietor
Leeann Thomas was born and raised in Juneau. She moved to North Idaho for 13 years where she enjoyed small towns, outdoor recreation and even received a college degree between skiing and hiking trips. She moved back in 2000 to buy the Triangle Club and keep the Thomas family tradition going. She is proud to be the third generation Thomas to run the Triangle Club. Leeann enjoys sharing stories about the bar and the history of Juneau with patrons. When not at work you can find her hanging out with her husband and son on their boat the Blue Barley or running with her girlfriends. Her favorite drinks are Alaskan White beer, white wine or a salted-rim Patron margarita.
Nathan Howard
Nathan was born in Sitka and raised up and down the west coast from Anchorage to Phoenix. He was raised in the bar industry and has been a bartender for 26 years; the recent 3 at the Triangle. He doesn’t have a favorite drink but enjoys making fancy cocktails for patrons.
Mollie Carr
Mollie has been a Juneau resident for 9 years. Has a huge passion for adventure, cooking and wine. Works by day as an Aging and Disability Specialist and by night serving drinks to all the wonderful locals at the Triangle. I love working at the Triangle. Owner, Team and our Patrons are the best! My favorite drink is an Aperol Spritz.
Derrek Trickel
Derrek grew up in rural Mid-Missouri but has been mostly nomadic since finishing school. He enjoys playing sports, hiking, music, and is particularly keen on climbing. His favorite drinks are cold beer, fernet, or a neat scotch.
Dita Sharpley
Dita is from Miami and is a painter and poet as well as a bartender at the Triangle. Since she loves cooking, bartending is a way to express flavor creativity. However, her favorite drink is a Jameson neat: simple, an Alaskan favorite and an internal sweater.
Steve Bower - Guest Bartender
Steve has been working in restaurants and bars since the late 70’s, but did not land at the Triangle until 2006. In his free time, Steve enjoys the beauty Juneau offers and loves to hike, sing and play guitar, fish, boat, read and snowshoe. He started working part time at the Triangle to save money for a boat, but continues working to keep that boat running! He enjoys a wide variety of adult beverages, but mostly enjoys getting to know more about the varied leisure travelers, the State Legislature and their staff members, and of course, our local regulars.
